Nestled right in the heart of the historic district in Saint Michaels, the Log Canoe Inn offers a magical, panoramic, waterfront view of the Saint Michaels Harbor. 

Our beautiful, spacious, waterfront lawn spans about 200 feet of waterfront and sits secluded back under a canopy of trees. Located at the end of Carpenter Street, the Log Canoe Inn is centrally located, and within a comfortable walking distance to everywhere in town. 

Our property can accommodate up to 50 guests during the wedding or event, and up to 12 guests overnight in our six waterfront suites.

 For any wedding or event, all of our rooms must be reserved, with a two-night minimum. 

Each of our six rooms offers a waterfront view of the St. Michaels Harbor and includes a full private bath. We have three pet-friendly rooms, with prior approval from management. 

Room reservations include a time period of 3:00 p.m. on the reserved check-in date to 11:00 a.m. on the reserved check-out date. Any tents and/or vendors must be set up and removed from the property within this time frame .

Payment Policy: A 50% deposit is required to hold any event reservation. The remainder of the balance is due on the reserved check-in date. Deposits may be refunded due to unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellation Policy: A 60 day notification in advance of the reserved check-in date is required to cancel any events. Notifications less than 60 days of the reserved check-in date are subject to be charged the full remaining amount on the day of notification of cancellation.

All of our general policies and regulations apply during weddings/events.

For all events, we charge a venue fee of $500 per day, with the additional cost of rooms not included. 

Please check with our management for the current nightly room cost at the time of booking. 

Rooms are also subject to a 6% Maryland Sales Tax and 4% Talbot County Accommodations Tax. 

Space Blocks: For off-site weddings/events, a space block may be created for guests. All room requests will be held until 60 days prior to the reserved check-in date on the space block, then any unreserved rooms will be released.
